TODOgotchi

A productivity app that stores to-dos while linking your accomplishments to the happiness of a virtual pet. The pet gets less and less happy over time. Accomplishing to-dos earns energy points that enable you to play with your pet and restore its happiness. Aims to: Harness the user’s emotional attachment to the pet to improve motivation, make gamifying productivity a more gratifying experience, and improve the user’s time-management skills.

TODOgotchi features a user created login, with encrypted password; To-do list stored between sessions that contribute to health of productivity pet; and a minigame appears when the productivity pet is fully happy. This was the final project for my Full Stack Web Development bootcamp and was completed in highly collaborative effort with a four member team.

Contributed minigame, todo list, styling, sounds, fonts, and all images. Assisted with integrating todo list with pet.

Getting Giphy With It

Gifs are a part of our everyday expression and life. Having access to gifs and their start and stop function helps us all. Gitting Giphy With It is an APP that uses AJAX and the Giphy Api to add gif's of the users choice to the page, along with some Philadelphia flavored preselected gifs I've chosen. Clicking on the Gif icons will start and stop their animation.

Poke-Weather App

When playing Pokemon Go, it can be difficult to correlate real-world weather forecasts with the in-game weather categories. In addition, the game doesn’t tell you which weather conditions boost which Pokemon types. PokeWeather App detects users location and displays weather information and boosted Pokemon Go creatures. Allows users to enter a different zip code, and check other boosted types. Contributed geolocation functionality, and most css and background images. Entire team worked collaboratively on visual elements and editing the final look together. This was the first collaborative project of my Full Stack Web Development bootcamp program.

LIRI (Language Interpretation and Recognition Interface)is a command line node app that takes in parameters and gives back data. Looking for concert date information, when a movie came out, or just information about a favorite song all in one quick interface without other distractions helps narrow in on the information the user is trying to get.

Turtle Friend Finder

A compatibility-based 'FriendFinder' application. This was an assignment to make a full-stack site that takes in results from your users' surveys, then compares their answers with those from other users. The app will then display the name and picture of the user with the best overall match.
